First Huawei nova 9 images appear, the phone is rumored to have 5G
Huawei fans rejoice! The nova 9 series is coming next month and it promises to be an impressive upgrade. First, a Huawei fan account on Weibo reported that the company’s upcoming phone will have flagship specs like dual-lens cameras with Leica lenses as well as 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space for internal memory. Hours later tipster @WHYLAB dug up one particular model: RTL-AL00 which has started its certification process in China but we don’t know what this device looks like yet because there are only two photos released showing mostly just black metal body parts – save for some pill-shaped camera bumps with circle elements reminiscent of past models from Huawei P50 series or even Honor 50 Pro.
The Honor 50 Pro is the first phone to use a 778G chipset. This new set of chips will be used in Huawei’s nova 9 series for better performance but it remains uncertain if this chip will have Qualcomm or Dimensity technology under its hood.
Huawei is going to release the Nova 9 series sometime in September. The phone will be 5G-enabled, which has been a surprise considering that most of Huawei’s flagship models use 4G chipsets and even some older devices are switching over from Android OS to HarmonyOS for better performance.
