The most important thing to users in the internet world is their passwords, but a recent study has revealed that millions of people are very careless when it comes to keeping their passwords.

According to a report compiled jointly by Password NordPass and threat management software NordStellar, 123456 was found to be the most common password for private and corporate accounts used around the world. This password was used by over 3 million private and over 1.2 million corporate account holders.

A NordPass analysis revealed that ‘123456’ has once again won the title of the world’s worst password. This password has topped the list 5 out of 6 times in the six-year research conducted on an annual basis.
